SEO copywriting - the most important skill of all say the search specialists
I know from my own research and proven results (not least from my own site position for certain keywords), that SEO copywriting makes an enormous difference to your site rankings, and that in most cases, it's a far more cost-effective way of scaling the heights of Google and co than link building.
Here's a poll from the search marketing industry which backs up what I've been saying. Incidentally, the poll was of search marketing specialists in general, not simply copywriters. They now rank SEO copywriting as far and away the most important element of search engine optimisation. It's good to see how it's not just copywriters who are coming to round to thinking this way.
Copywriting actually polled twice as many votes as the next answer, keyword analysis (which is actually an essential part of SEO copywriting anyway). And copywriting polled an incredible four times as many votes as traditional link building.
